Well, Im not exactly the one to be a blogger or to blog or whatever its called. I used to think it was insanely dumb, dont get me wrong I still kinda do. I used to just think 'who would want to read someones words about dumb useless things.' Then I started reading some of my friends blogs, and my mothers blog, and I started to get interested. For about 2 months, I still thought it was dumb and still didnt want to do it. I still dont know why I made a blog, no one made me do it or talked me into it. Maybe God is trying to use me through this blog to honor Him, who knows.
So here I am, typing away at my first blog, no clue what Im doing, but I do have some things to say about my title thing or whatever its called. It took me about 45 minutes to come up with a title. After doing the most basic search anyone does on google I searched 'things to name your blog' I realized someone had probably already taken those names and I was an idiot. So I thought some more, until I came up with 'The Kingdom's Comfort.' I wanted to dig deeper into the meaning of the word comfort. Most definitions on google were about having no worries and being in a state of relaxation or physical well being. The only way to completely attain full comfort is in Heaven. That is our true one and only soul comfort. We can still abide in Gods comfort, because God is always and forever with us.
Just merely knowing with 100% assurance I am going to heaven makes me have comfort. Now I cant image the comfort I will feel in heaven, but this comfort in just merely knowing God is pretty darn good. The kingdoms comfort is something I look forward to with my whole life because my life is Christ. Just imagine the day your in heaven for the first time, and the comfort youll feel in Gods arms. That's what Im about, and why Im here.
I like this post! yea, i've been thinking about heaven alot, too in the past few days! it's going to be sooo freaking awesome!!! :D Phil Wickham's song "In your city" is my fav. song, partly because of the part "When we've been there for ten thousand years, our song will be the same, 'Praise to the one who has brought us here, Jesus is his name. Jesus is his name'" I love that part of the song, just think, even after thousands of years in heaven, we'll still be praising Jesus because he's that amazing!!!
